This is my entry for that contest.

I chose to photograph this particular barn because I figured that there aren’t many things that are more Old School than a 19th century barn.  The wood grain, chipping paint, and rusted metal all reach out from a forgotten time.  Aesthetically, this is as old school as it gets.

Did a darkroom trial run last night to figure out where to put everything. Tonight I’m going to do some printing. I don’t have bottles to put chemicals in but I only have 8x10” trays so they won’t cost so much to fill.
